The Nethway is a family-run hotel located close to the centre of Torquay. The vistas from this hotel's slightly elevated position are absolutely wonderful. Without doubt, sitting on the terrace with the entire bay spread out before you is pretty special, especially on a mild summer's evening when you've got a chilled little tipple to sip on.
The pretty gardens and well kept pool are ideal places for parents with young children to pass a few hours as they are safe, fun and really very pleasant areas for little ones to play in.
The staff here always look like they've just been given a raise. It's rare – and extremely welcome – to see a team of hospitality workers looking so happy at work.
It is quite evident that some parts of this hotel could do with a little bit of TLC to bring them back to their best. Wouldn't have to be anything too substantial; just a lick of paint and some replacement furnishings here and there...
So, whilst walking into town or down to the seafront is a breeze, getting back again is often a far more challenging affair. That being said, it's this vantage point which provides the hotel's amazing views and buses to the town centre and beach stop right outside the hotel
