The standard of cleanliness is very high in the Navigator, both in the rooms and the public areas, which is a great indication of the hotel’s commitment to customer service.

The staff at the Navigator is friendly, efficient and courteous. It has been observed how staff members take time and trouble to pay attention to the needs of the guests and take pains to ensure their comfort. It has also been observed that the staff in the hotel is really good with children, open and welcoming.

It is an excellent feature of this hotel that a vegetarian option is available for breakfast. They also make sandwiches for guests who have to leave before dinner time, if required, which is also really helpful and considerate. The food in the hotel has been described by guests as ‘gorgeous’, although for some, given the variety of tastes which exists, it is just ‘okay’.

Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi signal here is rather erratic and apparently, it isn’t always possible to catch the signal in the room and one has to come out into the public area for connectivity.

Bognor is quite a sunny town in England and unfortunately, as the UK has a relatively temperate climate, there doesn’t seem to be enough done to keep the rooms cool. Guests staying here in August felt that their rooms were rather hot. There is no air-conditioning.

The garden outside the hotel is reportedly rather unkempt and unattractive Also, as the hotel is non-smoking, one has to walk through crowds of smokers to reach the entrance, which can be a bit off-putting.
