This motel's location just off highway I-10 was a hit with many guests as it enabled uncomplicated access to area beauty spots, the airport, USA-Mexico border crossings, golf courses, shopping malls, sports venues, museums and downtown El Paso, less than 20 minutes' drive away, for the zoo and University of Texas at El Paso. Although there were reportedly few dining options in the immediate vicinity, guests appreciated being a short drive away from eateries and convenience stores.

Considering the usually competitive rates at Motel 6 El Paso - Southeast, many guests felt that despite the rooms being no frills, they were more than sufficiently clean and comfortable for a stopover.
