Guests often commented that this motel enjoyed a handy location in Atlanta’s north-eastern suburbs. Not only was it just off highway I-85 and close to petrol stations, but also there were bus stops nearby and the nearest MARTA stations were a short drive away, enabling hassle-free light rail connections throughout the city. Drivers also liked the ample free parking and said it was hassle-free to get to area shopping malls, sports venues, parks, airports and downtown Atlanta with its many sights and attractions. Another bonus was there were a couple of places to eat just steps away.

Reviewers largely felt that the unfussy rooms with vibrant decor, wood-effect flooring and effective air-conditioning looked smart and were more than adequately clean and comfortable for a shorter stay. Guests liked the way there were mini-fridges and microwaves included in selected rooms. Those prioritizing affordability often said they got fair value for money as the rooms were normally competitively priced.

The free Wi-Fi network attracted criticism from some quarters. There were occasional reports that network speeds were sluggish and that the signal strength could have done with a boost.
