Many past guests that used it have commented in an overly positive manner when it came to the hotel's heated outdoor swimming pool area. Along with various other activities such as ping pong and pool tables, the pool itself was usually observed as enjoyable and well-maintained.

The hygiene standards of the accommodation were commended by many previous visitors. From the en-suite bathrooms to the outdoor spaces, all areas of the property have been typically considered really tidy and clean.

Whilst not the most central in terms of the major attractions that Wildwood Crest offers, the motel's location was still a highlight for many former guests. This was mainly due to the property being situated directly opposite the popular Wildwood Beach.

Although most were judged as modernised and comfy, the condition of certain rooms was defined as old-fashioned in terms of décor and facilities. Moreover, select rooms at the accommodation have also been described as uncomfortably cramped and lacking space.

Based on the general sentiments of those that used the free Wi-Fi, it was seen as a negative aspect about staying at the motel. Both the range and reliability of the wireless Internet have come under question in the past.

Although it was regarded as professional and accommodating for the most part, the service provided by the accommodation's management has come under criticism from numerous previous visitors. It was stated that the service was abrasive and even rude on occasion.
