Things aren't perfect here, but one thing you can't quibble about is the price. Very economical and attractive to business people and tourists.

The close access to the highway means you can get to the city, facilities and attractions … ‘just like that'! You aren't paying city centre prices though. Neither do you suffer the same degree of night time noise, although it can be a factor.

Beds are comfortable and rooms are really quite clean.

Come the late evening, there are no restaurants open in the vicinity. Neither do any of those further away offer a delivery service. In these circumstances, doughnut balls and coffee at Tim Horton's, across the street, never tasted so good. The following morning, the breakfast area is small and cramped - not the sort of place to relax in and contemplate the day. Breakfast itself is pretty basic and not worth any excited anticipation.

Some of the front desk staff can be quite hostile and unfriendly. They give the impression of doing you a favour just by talking to you. Complain about nil coffee in the room and they'll delight in telling you that the kitchen serves free coffee to guests at all times … and it does!

The locality and characteristics of some of the other guests are questionable. Not good. There's plenty of noise with folk slamming doors and problems are waiting to happen with the very noisy water pipes. Even the non-smoking rooms smell very strongly … of smoke. The tariff is quite attractive, but some of the problems here make you wonder if it is still over-priced for what it is.
