Just off of I-4, Universal Blvd. and International Drive, this is one of the best locations in the city in terms of convenience. The hotel is directly across the street from Wet 'n Wild and next door to iFLY, with Universal Orlando within walking distance and other major theme parks less than 5 minutes away by car.

Parking is expensive at theme parks - roughly the price of two meals at a counter service restaurant. If you would prefer not to drive and pay for parking, the hotel offers free shuttle service to several area attractions. Staff at the hotel can also offer help with directions, theme park information and purchasing tickets.

The hotel is in need of cosmetic attention and refurbishment. The general decor throughout the hotel is dated and the rooms show definite signs of age. Some guests report that the rooms can be dirty, and many have had problems with bugs including spiders, palmetto bugs and ants.

The hotel offers free Wi-Fi in the lobby area, but this does not extend to the rooms. If you rely heavily on Wi-Fi for work or other purposes, this will be a problem.

While the hotel's location along two major roads and the interstate is very convenient, it will also unavoidably create a noisy environment. The hotel has open corridors, meaning that you have little guard against the noise of traffic, pedestrians and other hotel guests.
