The Hotel Mondrian is just minutes from Miami's most famous beach. To the other side of the hotel are the pristine waters of Biscayne Bay and the lights of downtown Miami, providing an excellent view from any vantage point.

The hotel pool is an ideal location to swim or sunbathe while taking in the view of Biscayne Bay. You can enjoy a cocktail and relax in luxury, at least until the sun goes down on weekend nights.

Guests almost universally comment on the courtesy and friendliness of the hotel staff. If there is anything with which you need assistance, you should have no trouble getting the help you need.

Many guests complain about the extra fees which are not included in the cost of the room, but tacked onto the bill later. These include charges for Wi-Fi access, resort fees for use of the amenities, onsite parking and requesting a late checkout, among others.

On the weekends, the pool area at the Hotel Mondrian South Beach becomes a hub of party activity. Numerous guests have complained of drunken partiers, loud music, yelling and nudity carrying on into the early hours of the morning. If you're coming to Miami to party, this might be the place for you, but if you're hoping to relax, the weekend pool parties might make it difficult to sleep.

While the unique and skillfully-prepared cocktails offered in the Sunset Lounge may be delicious, they are certainly not cheap. Guests report that many of the hotel's drinks are at least double the cost of a cocktail at most other bars.
