Hotel Mogador Palace Agdal (Marrakech, Morocco)

Previous guests reported that the on-site restaurant, outdoor pool and reception areas are beautiful. The interiors feature stunning wooden hand painted ceilings, small birds fluttering in and out of the sumptuous restaurant. For nature lovers there are a variety of lovely wild birds around the gardens of the hotel and hawks fly down from the mountains. over your head. There are two large pools and plenty of sun loungers. The hotel ambience is wonderful, many guests plan to return to Mogador Palace for another visit.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The pool staff waits by discreetly, ready to provide you with any request without being too overbearing. The housekeeping staff will clean your room on a daily basis, providing guests with fresh linens and towels.

The hotel offers a free shuttle bus which runs every two hours for transport into town. The hotel is also just a five minute walk from a large shopping mall with a supermarket and all kinds of restaurants. There are American chain restaurants such as Pizza Hut, Dominos, as well as Chinese and Indian restaurants. Clothing stores and a children’s play area is only a 5 minute walk along the main road right off of the hotel grounds.

Some guests were inconvenienced by a slow Wi-Fi connection. It was difficult to connect to the service in some of the hotel rooms.

Some felt that the breakfast buffet lacked food variety and was often hectic and overcrowded. At times, there was a lack of food.

The hotel does not serve alcohol on the hotel grounds. This is a very strict policy but guests can buy alcoholic beverages at the nearby supermarket.
