Guests reported that they had never seen a room in such a state as they were at this hotel. They said that the rooms were dingy, dirty, and filled with non-operational amenities. Guests added that the windows were painted in black to prevent guests from noticing the filth and mould, though the feeling of dampness could not be masked. To boot, there was no reception area and it was difficult to reach the staff who, in any case, were rude and unhelpful.
Resentful guests reported that, even when they tried to leave within minutes of seeing their appointed rooms, they were never refunded their original payments, though this was stipulated in their booking arrangements and documents. They said that they felt that management was unashamedly focused on payments, and completely unconcerned about the wellbeing of their guests.
Guests said that the key codes provided were never changed, which made them feel insecure. In fact, guests reported that there was a pack of youths who had memorised some room key codes, and entered empty rooms with impunity, to use them as party venues.
