Situated in an enviable position right on Lloret Beach, Hotel Miramar Hotel offers updated accommodation in a smaller 70’s property with a surprising number of amenities. The rooms are simply furnished and have tiled floors to help with cooling. Each features en-suite bath with bidet and hairdryer, air conditioning, TV with satellite channels and in-room safe. Reception is open limited hours and can assist with luggage storage and local information. Wi-Fi is free of charge and accessible throughout the property, while parking is also available. There is a delightful roof terrace and pool with views over the Med, and also a small gym for those keeping in shape. The Hotel Miramar Lounge is right on the promenade and serves drinks and light meals throughout the day. Barcelona’s Airport is 57 miles from Hotel Miramar. Lloret Water World is a water park that offers fun for the whole family, and is just 1.7 miles away.

Of course it had to be the position right on the busy beachfront promenade that guests most appreciated about Miramar. Guests had come to Lloret de Mar for a bit of a beach break, and were happy that the object of their travels was just steps from their front door.
Guests couldn't say enough good things about the staff at Miramar. They were, of course, described as welcoming and friendly, but more than that they were said to “get things done”. Once a guest had reported a problem or made a request they had every confidence that it would be followed through to its conclusion.
While guests did say it was a bit small, they nonetheless did enjoy the views over the Med from the rooftop terrace. The pool itself was small, but more than adequate for a small refreshing dip.
A surprising number if guests reported booking, and receiving confirmation for, front sea view rooms, only to arrive and be allocated rooms facing the back or sides. Naturally this left them quite unhappy, and they accused the property of not honouring its commitments.
The overwhelming number of guests commenting on it found the Wi-Fi to be quite weak. Sometimes they couldn't get a connection at all, and sometimes it was too slow, leading to a great deal of frustration.
The hotel was said to be very popular with adolescent travellers, who quite naturally made quite a lot of noise. It was said a word with the staff would usually set things right, but some did find it did disturb their sleep.
