Hotel Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Eagan/St Paul (Eagan, USA)

Even though the rooms at Microtel Inn and Suites by Wyndham are rather basic, they are clean, modern, comfortable, and well maintained. The rooms have a little TV room which serves like a living room and guests love it. The free Wi-Fi is of excellent quality.

The hotel serves a free continental breakfast which consists of cold cereal, bagels, toast, waffles, yoghurt, coffee, juice, muffins, apples, bananas, and oranges which guests have described as tasty and quite filling.

The staff here is very friendly and helpful and never seems to do enough to make guests comfortable. Very helpful as well when it comes to helping guests find nice budget locations to visit close to the hotel.

Microtel Inn and Suites by Wyndham guests have reported that the rooms are poorly soundproofed and noise from external sources easily filters into the rooms which can be particularly distracting at night.

Even though the hotel has done well to provide climate control systems in the rooms, several guests have observed that the AC units are often inefficient and do not cool the rooms adequately especially when it gets sweltering hot. Other amenities such as phones are frequently out of service.

Although the hotel has designated some rooms as non-smoking rooms, guests have complained that many of these rooms frequently reek strongly of cigarette smoke. A lot of smoking also goes on in common spaces such as the hallways.
