Guests definitely felt that the room rates were very low, certainly lower than other places they had looked up in the area. They felt that it was a pretty reasonably priced way to get a roof over their head in the area.

It was the hotel’s location, very near the interstate, that guests most appreciated during their stay. It meant that it was a relatively simple matter to access the highway and be on their way to their destination, without first having to negotiate lots of busy city streets.

Many guests staying during the Masters Golf Tournament really appreciated the shuttle the hotel put on to get them to and from the event every day, saving them the trouble of trying to arrange parking nearby.

Problems with cleanliness were by far the most numerous, and most serious, complaints. Guest’s spoke of serious issues, from blood stains here and there to very dirty carpets, but whatever the specific complaint, it did not leave them with a positive impression of the hotel.

Guest after guest commented that the rooms were looking incredibly dated and tired. With their faded fabrics, tears, scuff marks and so on it seemed that it had been many, many years since they had last been refreshed. Guests believed the hotel needed a major update to remain competitive.

Guests did not think highly of the staff in general, saying that they were not at all friendly or helpful, but it was their inability to perform fairly simple tasks with any sort of skill that most upset them.
