Ttc Hotel - Michelia (Nha Trang, Vietnam)

Excellent locale with superb amenities and impeccably-kept grounds.  Easy walking distance to market, dining and entertainment areas, as well as directly across from the beach.  Rooms are spacious with stunning sea views (request one of those if you can), stocked mini bars, plenty of multilingual channels on television, and bathrobes.  The welcome drinks are a lovely touch for a greeting, and a quick tour of the property follows.   Plenty of fun packages and events going on including Saturday night barbecues.  Fabulous value for the money!

Plenty of selection on the breakfast buffet of both hot and cold items.  Lots of choices from many different cultures including pastries, egg dishes, fried meats and noodles, fresh fruits, cereal and yoghurt.  You probably won't be hungry until at least dinnertime!

Take a dip in the sparkling on-site pool and enjoy the big screen, or walk less than two minutes to reach the sunny private beach area and relax with your hotel-provided umbrella, towels and sunbed/lounger.

Some felt the balconies were too small for their tastes. Old beds and dirty, stained carpeting has been noted in some rooms. Bring slippers. Water may flow over the edges of the showers/bathtubs in the bathroom due to an apparent design flaw - ask for extra towels if necessary. The flow of air conditioning is difficult to adjust and may blow into your face while sleeping.

Although not all staff are rude, some speak harshly to guests, at times accusing them of stealing robes and overcharging them for items at checkout.

The hotel is located farther from centre of town and lively part of the beach than some expected. Plan on a taxi or new walking shoes.
