The grounds have been described as beautiful, quiet and peaceful with a spacious lawn shadowed by palm trees, an outdoor swimming pool and plenty of seating areas. Local attractions are also easily accessible by car or public transport. Port of Miami and the Wallflower Gallery are 7-minutes' drive away and less than 20-minutes with public transport. The Miami Art Museum can be reached in 13-minutes by car or 30-minutes by public transport. The restaurants and shopping areas of Publix, Brickell and Bayside are also close by.

The rooms are well presented and beautifully furnished with a mix of antique furniture and comfortable modern mattresses. Guest described the rooms as both quaint and classy, clean and comfortable.

The staff are friendly, helpful, warm and approachable. You can expect staff to make you feel at home and to make recommendations for local pubs and restaurants.

The cleanliness of this establishment seems to be hit or miss as many contradictory reports were made. Of the negative reviews, guests reported finding stained carpets, mold growing in the bathroom, chipped wall paint and dusty curtains.

Guests also commented that the breakfast selection is very poor with only sandwiches being offered which do not appear to be freshly prepared.
