Situated in a convenient spot just 500 yards from Calella Beach and railway station, Hotel Hotel Miami is a charming 70’s style property built around a lovely pool courtyard. The rooms are simply furnished, but have lovely flashes of colour to brighten things up. Each features en-suite bathroom, hairdryer, air conditioning, TV, in-room safe, work desk and telephone. There is a lovely courtyard, with small pool, sun loungers and tables scattered around. There is also a children’s playground to keep them engaged and entertained. Reception is open 24 hours and free Wi-Fi is available in the public areas. There is an on-site buffet restaurant serving a wide variety of cuisines, while the cheerful bar serves both alcoholic drinks and great coffee. The main attraction is the nearby Calella Beach, but the town centre is also interesting, and is just steps away. Barcelona is about 35 miles away.

It was hard to find a bad word written about the hotel's staff. They were said to be very friendly and welcoming, always willing to try to help their guests with any query or issue. Also, a few guests said that they had very little trouble communicating in English.
While not right on the beach, guests describe it as such a short walk away that it almost may as well have been. It was said to be even closer to Calella town centre, with its cafes, bars and nightlife. Guests never felt they needed to travel far for leisure or nightlife.
Even if they had the odd issue with the hotel, pretty much all guests agreed that the hotel, and their rooms, were kept spotlessly clean for the duration of their stay.
While, unusually for a hotel, the majority found the WiFi to be both reliable and fast enough for their purposes, many pointed out that it was only available in the public areas. While this may have got people out their rooms, there were times when having in-room Wi-Fi would just have been convenient.
Guests paid for being close to the town centre and its nightlife by having to endure noise when they were trying to sleep. The noise from the street was said to drift up to the rooms, and the walls between rooms were also said to do little to stop sound travelling through them.
It was hard to find a good word written about the food from the buffet restaurant. The variety on offer was said to be very limited, leading to boredom during the course of a holiday.
