Hotel Meson Del Vino (Valle de Guadalupe, Mexico)

This place is perfect for getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The area around the hotel is very peaceful and there are several vineyards that are within easy reach. There are a few restaurants nearby including a place that makes delicious pizzas in a firebrick oven.

The rooms at the hotel are clean and comfortable. The price is very affordable compared to other locations nearby which means this is the perfect spot if you want to spend less on accommodation and more on wine. The rooms are air conditioned and there's also a small heater available.

The hotel is not next to the main road so you can only get to it using a dirt road which you have to be on for a few minutes. The ride is not comfortable and it can also be hard to locate the dirt road since the signage for the hotel is barely visible.

The Wi-Fi is only usable if you're in the downstairs lounge which is not convenient if you want to use the internet in the privacy of your room or late at night.

This is an unavoidable downside of the location. With the exception of a few restaurants, there isn't much else near the hotel and you almost always have to drive to get anywhere so come prepared for this.
