Hotel Meriton Old Town Garden (Tallinn, Estonia)

This was without a doubt what guests most appreciated about the hotel. They describe it as really being in the Old Town, which was said to be lovely, with its cobble stoned streets and historic buildings.

Even if many guests found an odd problem here and there, they often went on to add that they had received what they considered to be a very good room rate. All things considered, they felt that they had received exceptionally good value for money.

Several guests were delighted to find tea and coffee making facilities in their room, since it meant they could make themselves a hot beverage with a minimum of fuss. Also mentioned was that tea and coffee supplies would be regularly replenished.

While this is, unfortunately, not at all uncommon in hotels, guests complain that the Meriton Old Town presented them with two beds pushed together when they had booked a room with a double bed. Of course two beds pushed together are nothing like a double bed, so guests were certainly not happy.

While it didn't seem that any guests were surprised by this, they found that they had to pay for their fantastic central position by enduring the noise of revellers on the streets outside. It was said that this could get quite bad, especially on weekends, and did prevent some from sleeping well.

While the breakfast itself attracted mostly positive comments, several guests said that the breakfast room was simply too small. They had difficulty trying to find a table and even if they found one, the room was uncomfortably crowded.
