The Ramada Osten is situated only one tram stop from the beach coast, the commute is roughly five minutes from the Ostend railway station to Marie-José square. There is a small park just opposite the hotel. The area is surrounded by quaint cafés, shops and restaurants. Guests were very pleased with the hotel’s positioning. Many were happy to be within walking distance of beach, park and town centre.
The recently refurbished hotel provides clean and modern conditions. The interior decor is very modern and kept in immaculate condition. Most guests enjoyed the hotel’s overall ambiance and luxury amenities. The hotel’s interior is very modern and well-maintained. Many felt that the hotel is a great value for it’s price. Rooms include a balcony and air-conditioning unit for added comfort.
Many of the hotel’s previous guests’ were very pleased with the wide variety of breakfast selection at the morning buffet, which exceeded expectations as a complimentary meal. There are also many dining options surrounding the hotel for those looking to venture out and try the local cafes.
Despite the spacious double beds in each room, some guests felt the hotel beds were rather uncomfortable and featured protruding springs and pings, causing slight back pain. Others felt the bed was comfortable and enjoyed a good night’s rest.
The hotel rooms have been described as cosy and quaint. Some guests might feel the accommodations are somewhat small but still very clean and comfortable.
Some visitors had difficulty sleeping due to poor noise insulation throughout the hotel. Guests were bothered by excessive noise travelling from both the neighboring rooms and the external street noise.
