Many guests comment the beach is minutes away and the surrounding areas are full of lush gardens. Others add the beach features a vibrant night life with discos, karaoke bars, casinos and note that there are frequent festivals, flea markets and activities such as go-karting held along the coast.

Some guests comment the food is a wonderful mix of Indian, Portuguese, Chinese, Thai, Greek, Russian and Italian cuisine and note that staff cordially attend to personal dietary requests. Others add that the food quality is superb and note that staff use freshly caught sea food and local choice produce from nearby markets.

Many guests comment that staff is well-conversant in English and the manager personally welcomes guests at check in and efficiently guides about room amenities and local information. Others add that the front desk is well-informed about historical sites in the area and are helpful if booking tours.

Several guests comment that there is no air-conditioning in the room and it can get muggy inside during the rainy season. Others add that some rooms have air-conditioning and there is an extra charge.
