The Mediterranean Suites are situated just minutes from the beach in the heart of Salou, Spain. The 55 spacious apartments are distributed over five floors, each with a private bathroom and terrace. Each apartment features a living room with a double sofa-bed, one or two bedrooms, TV, air conditioning and a fully-equipped kitchen with a refrigerator and electric cooker. The apartments complex has swimming pools for both adults and children with sun loungers and sunshades, as well as a solarium. The 24- hour reception offer tour information and safety deposit boxes are available at an additional fee. The hotel has a cafeteria and a restaurant where guests can get together to enjoy their meals or they can prepare their meals in the privacy of their own apartments. The popular local beach is a short five-minute walk from the hotel and the Flash Back Discotheque is just 800 metres away.

There is no need to be concerned about parking. There is plenty on the street near the facility, which can be a great convenience as you can walk to most places.

The locale is great and the hotel looks rather nice on the exterior. The building is just a few minutes walk from the main street Salou with great restaurants and bars. The beach is quite close as well. Overall, the hotel is in a great location and you will have plenty to do.

Cheap Late Check-Out

If you would like to leave a bit later than the normal check-out time, the price is quite cheap to do so, which gives you more time to prepare for the day's journey.

The Tricky Bed Scenario

Booking a triple room means that you may find there are only two actual beds and a third in the form of a sofa. It seems that in order to create a larger bed, smaller single beds are put together, which can be quite uncomfortable. The mattresses could be softer as well.

Short On Hospitality

You may experience a rude, ungenerous personnel. You only receive one small bar of soap and one roll of toilet paper. If you ask for another roll, you may find the staff giving you a hard time regardless of how long you have been staying in the unit. Housekeeping is not consistent and you may find bedding unchanged and bins still full.

Be sure to get rid of any rubbish in your unit before leaving. If you don't, they can keep your deposit.
