To the pleasant surprise of many guests, Med Playa Riviera is only moments from the beach. Guests can access the beach either by steps or by a direct lift, giving them a good alternative to the pool and terrace facilities offered by this hotel should they fancy it.
On the whole, the food at Med Playa Riviera is well regarded. Guests report that the selection available to them both at breakfast and evening dinner is extensive, giving plenty of options and helping to make sure guests do not get bored of having the same thing every day.
Staff at Med Playa Riviera are consistently described as being friendly and helpful. They are also efficient, with guests reporting that any queries are dealt with promptly and effectively, usually with a positive outcome.
A number of guests report that while the pool area is pleasant and well maintained, there does appear to be a lack of sunbeds which means some people are disappointed to find there is nowhere to relax by the poolside. In particular, there appears to be a problem with towels being left on sunloungers to reserve them when not in use. This has irritated many guests.
The fact that guests have to pay a fee to access the fridge in their room has not gone down well. Similar comments have been made about towels, with guests complaining that they have to pay a hefty deposit to borrow one.
Evening noise has been an issue for some guests, whether it has come from the hotel’s own bar or from passing traffic from the nearby main road.
