Mc Cormacks is a three-star guesthouse with ten rooms, situated in the heart of the Irish countryside of Mullingar, Ireland. This guesthouse is based on a cattle farm that gives it a very nostalgic experience. Rooms are decorated in a simple way and are equipped with cable television, tea making facilities and wood furnishings. Bathrooms are provided with all the en suite facilities. Pets are allowed at no extra cost. Onsite parking and Wi-Fi connection are complimentary services. Mc Cormacks offers a variety of recreational facilities like pool room, tennis court, sauna, relaxation room, picnic area and a hot tub in the log cabin. Belvedere House Garden is five miles away and Mullingar town is a two-minute walk from the guesthouse. Golf courses and fishing lake are present nearby.

Guests were touched by the genuine and warm hospitality offered by the owners Tom and Margaret along with the staff members. Nothing was much of a trouble for the staff members who eagerly came to any assistance of the guests. They even helped some of the guest with vital information about the place, which helped them to plan their travel itinerary.
One of the best parts about this guesthouse is the full Irish breakfast served here. It was extremely sumptuous and came with a generous helping of a wide variety of items. Fresh fruits, juices, cereals, yoghurt and many other items are included in the list. Brown bread and coffee were a great hit amongst many guests.
This guesthouse makes an ideal vacation for the adults as well as the kids. There are many activities that can be done and keep the guests occupied instead of being perched in the room. All these facilities are available at a very nominal fee. Sauna and hot tub helped the guests relax and rejuvenate. Kids enjoyed the pool, library and the picnic area.
Wi-Fi connection was very erratic in the rooms, which did not allow the guests to work online or even check their emails.
Some of the guests found that the television channels were limited only to Irish ones. Having other channels would also have been great as per them.
Few guests felt that the beds were too soft, which gave them a stiff neck and back. Harder mattresses would have been better.
