It is approximately one minute’s walk to the beach and the hotel benefits from some amazing sea views. Nearby there is also a coastal path where you can walk for miles. The town centre is also within walking distance where you can find many shops and restaurants.

This accommodation often comes in at a cheaper price than its competitors, meaning that it’s a great choice for those travelling on a budget. The accommodation can be described as no frills but offers great value for money.

Previous guests have commented on the beds and have said that for a budget hotel the beds are surprisingly comfortable with fresh linen.

The rooms are very small and some past guests have reported a damp smell. There have also been lots of little maintenance issues reported, for example broken door handles. A common theme is that the televisions don’t have a remote control and that the bathrooms don’t seem to have a lock on them. There have been mixed reviews about how clean the rooms are with some complimenting the staff on the cleaning and others feeling it is not cleaned to an adequate standard.

Concerns have been raised about the safety and security in the hotel. This includes worries about fire doors, keys opening other hotel rooms and issues with the hot water supply meaning it often comes out too hot. No shower curtain has also led to water spraying everywhere and creating a hazard.

The walls in the hotel are very thin so there is a chance that you will hear noise from other guests, both from other hotel rooms and from the public areas.
