Masseria Fontanelle is situated on a promontory of the Salento countryside, in The Natural Reserve of Ugento, at about 900 metres from the beach and it is surrounded by a hundred-years-old pinewood of about two hectares. Since 1600, owned by the monastery of the Benedictine Nuns of Ugento, became permanent residence of local farmers and settlers. Today, the careful restoration has brought to light the extraordinary rural architecture, perfectly preserved and built with local stone and materials typical of the period. Fine and gold sand beach is wetted by the crystalline Jonio sea waters and has a terrace to enjoy the sea with extreme relax. It is reachable from Masseria (900 meters) thanks to the free shuttle service. Guests will have 1 beach umbrella and 2 sun beds per room included in the price, in first line only for who choose De Luxe accommodation - 30 rooms: Standard and De Luxe (bigger), all created from the original cells of the Benedictine Nuns of the 17th century. De Luxe rooms differ mainly in greater spaciousness than Standard ones and the possibility of having the majestic four-poster bed.
