Hotel Martinique Whitsunday (Airlie Beach, Australia)

The best feature by far of this hotel according to previous guests was the spectacular panoramic views across the water that they enjoyed from the luxurious wet edge pool perched high on the hill.

Guests raved about the excellent nights sleep that they enjoyed on the super comfortable beds and pillows in the hotel. Guests also said that the lounges were very comfortable and relaxing.

A number of previous visitors who stayed here were very complimentary about the service that they recieved from the hotel's management, with many people saying that the hosts were exceptionally friendly and welcoming and very helpful when guests had requests for additional amentiy.

Guests warned future visitors that the property is perched high on a big hill and whilst the walk into Airlie Beach's main street is a short one, the walk home is an absolute leg burner and guests should be prepared for the work out and trudge back up the hill.

For guests who like to stay connected with family and friends during their vacation via social media the limited amount of free Wi-Fi provided by the hotel was frustrating.

Guests who encountered less than spotless cleaning of their apartments either on their arrival or as a result of a scheduled services left negative comments about the hotel saying that for the price paid they did not expect a sub par cleaning effort. Guests were also a bit miffed at being asked to take out their own rubbish at the end of their stay.
