Hotel Maritime Park & Spa Resort (Krabi, Thailand)

The swimming pool at Maritime Park & Spa Resort is a great place to relax and get some sun. It pretty big and clean and there are plenty of loungers to relax on at its perimeter.

Guestrooms here are spacious enough and offer absolutely delightful views from their balconies. It's a beautiful vista to wake up to and will give you a lovely sense of location.

The grounds here are big and the gardens are absolutely beautiful. It's enjoyable to take a stroll through them.

Maritime Park & Spa Resort is starting to feel really rather outdated. The interior is particularly tired, with worn carpets and furnishings that have certainly seen better days. A lick of paint and some general loving care would do the world of good. The fitness centre is past its best and the Wi-Fi connection is pretty patchy at the best of times. You might struggle to get online at all.

The staff here can be rather slow to react to any issues that may arise, and several previous guests have commented that they appeared fairly unhelpful. On top of this, some of them don't have a very strong command of English, so you might struggle to be understood at times.

This resort isn't positioned in an especially convenient spot. It is a reasonable distance from the middle of the city and there aren't many places to get a drink or a bite to eat in the vicinity. The beach is a fair distance as well and, while there is a shuttle form the hotel, they are rather infrequent. A taxi there is quite pricey.
