In the heart of Nerja, right next to the famous Balcony of Europe, Marissal hostal’s idyllic location which offers you incredible vistas of the aquamarine Mediterranean is loved by guests. Surrounded by gorgeous beaches and restaurants, you’ll find an incredible array of relaxing settings and scenic beauty.
The staff at the Marissal hostal is efficient and very accommodating and makes an effort to help the guests promptly. Repeated guests recommended the location and the staff to be the best in Nerja and one of the main reasons for coming back.
The hostal is spotlessly clean and well-maintained with very spacious rooms and bathrooms. Guests loved the quiet location with modern amenities and sea views from balcony provided with some rooms.
Many guests felt disappointed on paying additional charges for some basic facilities like balcony, breakfast meal safe or extra key. There is also a lack of tea/coffee maker in the room.
A few guests found no parking available at the hostal quite disappointing and had to roll the luggage into “no car” zone however, the stunning location of the hotel made up for most of it.
Shower temperature changes frequently, no refrigerator in the rooms, few rooms just face the courtyard are some of the minor issues reported by guests.
