With the use of a kitchen and barbecue, guests may choose to self-cater. There is a supermarket 15-minutes drive away. There are shops, cafes and restaurants in Margaret River. Voyager Estate Winery is a 20-minute drive away and Gnarabup Beach is 25-minutes. Augusta is 30-kilometres away.

Dog friendly

Guests whose dogs are part of the family are very happy that these cottages are pet friendly. The dogs have a great time, with places to play in front of the cottages and lovely walks through the forest.

Comfortable cottages

The cottages are very comfortable and equipped with everything you need away from home. They have a good supply of hot water, cosy beds and well-equipped kitchens. The air-conditioning works well during the summer, while guests enjoy the log stove even when it isn't so cold outside.

Wonderful wildlife

These cottages are perfectly located for feeling close to nature. You can take a lovely walk through the forest to spot the kangaroos and emus, or just sit outside and enjoy listening to the sounds of the wildlife, especially if you are lucky enough to be visited by local birds.

Although you will probably choose this accommodation if you are looking for somewhere to get away from the hustle and bustle of life, and may not expect to have Wi-Fi, some guests are disappointed to find they also have no mobile phone signal.

Open plan may be a little noisy

As the downstairs is all open plan, some guests say that even with the bedroom doors closed any sounds do carry throughout. As such, it may be the case that if one person is up and about then the others will be woken up too.

Cleaning could be more thorough

With four-legged guests, as well as the cottages have a real stove, some guests say that there can be hairs and ash in the cottages. This is not a big issue, and is easily swept up, but some would like to see a more thorough cleaning regime in place.
