Hotel Mantra One Sandy Bay Road (Hobart, Australia)

Previous guests really liked the location of the hotel which is central to Hobart city's local attractions. It is only a short walk down to the Salamanca area which is a popular restaurant and bar precinct near the marina.

Guests commented that they appreciated the large space available in the rooms which was enhanced by the extra high ceilings and complimentary furniture which made for a pleaseant stay.

The staff at the hotel rated highly across reviews for being super friendly and attentive towards their guests. It seems that the staff were only too happy to help guests find their way around Hobart and guests said that check-in was a breeze.

A number of guests were left without parking on-site simply because they did not know that they needed to pre-book this service prior to arriving.  If parking is not booked, than a first come first serve rule applies and those guests who missed out on parking were not at all happy.  Guests left comments reminding people to pre-book their car park.

Guests who had the unfortunate timing to have stayed at the hotel when critical amenities such as the lift, TV, microwave and dishwasher in their rooms was out of order were less than impressed by the maintenance efforts and left less than positive reviews about the hotel.

Guests with an eye for detail and who expected a high standard of cleaning were not impressed by the efforts of the housekeeping staff at the hotel. Guests suggested that the hotel could use a deeper clean than was evident rather than the surface clean between guests.
