Apartments have been designed to take advantage of the location and feature an open plan living space leading onto a balconies. Apartments feature a flat screen TV, full kitchen and laundry facilities. The Mantra Aqueous on Port boasts four lagoon-style pools and some apartments even have a swim up pool deck. Guests also have full use of the BBQ areas and sun decks. THe Mantra Aqueous on Port is located on Macrossan Street right by the cafes and local restaurants. Guests can try seafood, Italian or traditional Australian pub food within a five minute walk from the hotel. The closest airport to the hotel is the Cairns International Airport which is one hours’ drive by car. Be sure to take a day trip to the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest whilst in Port Douglas.
Guests who stayed in the swim up rooms with their own private balconies with a sun deck that had access directly to the pool mentioned that this was the best part of their stay.
