A number of guests commented that the best part of the accommodation was that it was on the quiet side of the island away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist areas but close enough to dip and and out of the action.
The resort is directly on the beach and a short walk to the crystal blue waters of the ocean and it is no surprise that this was the favourite aspect for many who stayed at the resort.
The restaurant and bar area at the resort was singled out across a number of reviews as being the highlight of guest experiences. The food served which is a blend of Thai and French cuisine also rated highly across reviews.
A few reviewers made similar comments about the service provided by reception on arrival and during their stay, with some guests remarking that they thought the reception staff were rude, bored and unprofessional.
Some guests had the unfortunate timing to stay at the resort while there was construction nearby and their reviews complained about the noise from the construction, commenting that it negatively impacted their peace and quiet during their time on the island.
A number of previous travellers left reviews warning future guests that the bathrooms are in the open air and connected to the main room via flimsy doors, meaning that insects get into the room and there is a general lack of privacy whilst showering.
