The rooms have been designed to be suitable for extended stays, and so are relatively spacious. They also feature kitchenettes so you can prepare some of you favorite meals from back home, and a TV for a bit of entertainment. While compact, the outdoor pool offers guests some sweet relief on those hot and sticky summer days. For those who would rather break a sweat, there’s a fully equipped fitness center. Pets are allowed on application. A simple continental breakfast is available in the breakfast room every morning, while reception staff will also be happy to offer great personal dining recommendations. Downtown Port St Joe, with its delightful marina and wealth of amenities, is just 3.5 miles drive to the north.
The majority of guests definitely both liked and appreciated the breakfast. They felt that it had a decent variety of foods on offer, and appreciated that the hotel made it available. That way, they didn’t have to search for a restaurant first thing in the morning.
All guests seemed to really appreciate having the little kitchens available, even those only staying a short time. Some made full meals, and felt that they had a decent array of kitchen equipment to make use of, and others liked that they had the space and facilities to heat up quick snacks and such.
Guests who brought their pets along were pretty happy with their experience. They felt that they and their pets were treated just like any other guests.
Guests were clearly not thrilled with the hotel’s location. It was described as being some way from the amenities of Port St Joe. This might not have been so bad had there been some amenities nearby, but guests said that there were not even any simple restaurants within walking distance.
