Mahoora Mobile Tented Safari Camp - Yala is located bordering the Yala National Park. Which enables the guests to experience something very similar to living inside the park. If you are fortunate you may even encounter wildlife in the campsite itself. We have experienced Elephants and Leopards visiting the campsite. This property allows guests to absorb the taste of Sri Lankan wilderness fully and it takes 20 to 25-minute drive to the park ticket office. The mobile tents are equipped with a full set of amenities, bathroom facilities, carpeted floor, hot water, mosquito net, and even features private patios. The tents are designed under the pack-in-pack-out concept so that environmental impact is minimized. The price includes entrance fees to the park and all other related charges such as the cost of a jeep, beverages, lunches with dinners, and fees for the expert naturalist guide. You are able to start the Yala Safari as early as 5.30am and continue till 7.00pm. Early morning and late evenings are the best times for wildlife viewing and photography /filming. In general, a hotel will not be able to offer the same services as their area of expertise is very different.
