So many visitors have described the staff at the Madras Hotel as really friendly and helpful, where nothing seems to be too much trouble at all. The staff, according to many visitors, are very knowledgeable about most of the local attractions in the area, and can advise guests on the best cuisine too.

If you find yourself on a budget, or you prefer to have some extra money left over to get something nice for yourself, then this hotel will be perfect. Many guests have commented on the excellent rates, and find that the location is ideal as well.

You don't even need to have your own vehicle with you on this vacation if you use the airport shuttle to get to the hotel. Most visitors find the public transportation very convenient, while the MRT is just a five minute walk away, and the closest bus stop is across the street.

The pub/bar at the Madras Hotel only close when the last visitor leaves, and this has caused quite a lot of frustration with a few guests who value their sleep. If you are not a night owl, and need a good sleep, then perhaps you could request a room on the other side, far from the bar.

There have been many complaints from visitors who have been less than impressed with the breakfast here. It is reported to be seriously limited in choice and quality, however some guests said at least the coffee was pretty good.

If you are planning to spend quite a bit of time in the rooms, then you might find them a bit cramped. Families, have complained of not having any space to store their luggage; regardless most guests spend their time exploring the surroundings.
