Of course a great many guests staying were attending games at Camp Nou Stadium. It was described as barely three minutes walk away. But not only football fans were happy with the location. Others also said that the proximity to the metro meant they could get to central Barcelona and its attractions in no time at all.
It seemed as if they were expecting something different, but many guests mentioned that they were very impressed with the cleanliness of their rooms on arrival. Despite many rooms having carpeted floors there really were no complaints regarding cleanliness to be found.
While not described as the best breakfast they ever did have, many guests felt the buffet had a good variety of foods available, and in sufficient quantity that they were set until at least lunch.
A fairly common complaint this one, guests missed both the ability to make tea or coffee in their rooms, as well as a minibar. So they missed out on both hot and cold beverages. While these drinks were available downstairs, they were certainly not happy about their absence in the rooms.
While guests did not seem surprised by the fact, they did point out that the immediate area, and the hotel itself, could get pretty noisy. Of course the hotel is used by those attending matches and events at the stadium, so high spirits and celebrations were very common reasons for noise.
A couple of guests mentioned that they couldn't seem to get hot water at times, especially very late at night. It may be that the hotel uses a timer on its hot water tank.
