The hotel is conveniently located close to the Bastille in Paris. The train station is very close by which is perfect for getting around the city. There are various restaurants and cafes that you can try out in the neighbourhood and there's a supermarket close by too. The location also provides easy access to various attractions within the city.
The accommodations are more on the basic side but sensible considering the price. The rooms are very clean and functional. There is a mini fridge in the room if you need one and there's also a closet. The bathroom is okay too.
There is free Wi-Fi available in the hotel but it's rather spotty. On some days it works quite well but on others you'll have to logon every few minutes which is terribly inconvenient.
The hotel doesn't break from the tradition of economizing on space that's common in many hotels in the area. The rooms are a little cramped and the elevator is a rather tight fit even for a few people and their luggage.
The walls in the hotel are thin. Expect to hear a lot more than you'd like from adjacent rooms including conversations. Due to the location of the hotel, there is also a lot of noise coming in from the street even late at night. If you're a light sleeper you may want to bring earplugs.
