No matter what guests think of the hotel, they all seem to be in agreement that its Thai restaurant is something special. They find the tasty oriental dishes just fabulous - even vegetarians can delight in the food selection on offer.

The hotel is starting to look its age to say the least. Guests find furniture or bathroom fittings falling apart and the décor is very old fashioned and tired. Whilst the value for money offered to guests offsets this to an extent, it surely can not paper over the cracks for ever.
Some rooms come with showers and others with baths. If you don't specify in advance your preference it is just a case of pot luck what you will get. Some guests do like to relax in baths now and again, but nowadays they are accustomed to having a shower and are a bit lost without one. Even guests who had showers complain that they are not proper showers - just shower head connections.
The road outside the hotel is busy with trucks and cars passing regularly. Some guests, especially those with rooms overlooking the road, find it as a consequence quite noisy.
