Hotel Lungotevere Suite (Rome, Italy)

With complimentary access to the three floors of high-tech gym equipment, personal trainers on standby to assist wherever required, daily classes in everything from pilates and spinning to fitboxing and bodypump, and a refreshing juice bar, the hotel is the ideal option for the fitness conscious.

With its location an eight-minute walk away from the Trastevere Railway Station, a tram stop for the number eight tram into central Rome and the bus station, Lungotevere Suite is situated away from the usual tourist traps yet within easy reach of many of the most popular places to visit in the City.

Rooms are spacious, modern and boast huge balconies (some comparable in size to the rooms, themselves). For most guests, some of the best moments of their stays have been spent on their private terrace, a cold drink in hand, taking in the views across the river.

With a music venue on the opposing side of the river, a nightclub inside the hotel itself and a busy road below, you are likely to experience noise disturbance of one form or another during your stay. Ear plugs are provided.

The kitchens in the apartments are well-equipped; with kettle, fridge, microwave oven, hob and dishwasher. Some guests, however, have suggested that a washing machine and iron would be welcome additions as, for those staying longer than a few days, going without is highly inconvenient.

The front desk at the hotel is not manned 24-hours a day and, while an emergency number is provided for staff assistance out of hours, many feel that isn't sufficient for a facility of Lungotevere Suites size.
