This motel's location just off the intersection of US Route 27 and Interstate 10 proved popular with reviewers who liked the easy access to central Tallahassee, about ten minutes' drive to the south. Moreover, there was a major shopping mall within one mile plus gas stations and convenience stores in the vicinity of the motel.

The remodeled rooms with their wood-effect floors and colorful decor had plenty of admirers among reviewers. Guests often said they found the rooms to be more than sufficiently clean and comfortable for a shorter stay. There was free parking and room rates were reportedly competitive so many visitors felt their stays represented fair value for money.

Plenty of reviewers paid tribute to the customer service, often describing staff as friendly, helpful, kind and accommodating. Many travelers said they also experienced a smooth and swift check-in.

Additional fees for Wi-Fi access were unpopular with visitors, who often expressed surprise that the service wasn't included for free with the room rate. Furthermore, some disappointed users occasionally claimed they faced sluggish speeds and patchy coverage.
