Devon farmhouse setting.

A warm and relaxing B+B with friendly owners. You can’t beat this countryside location and yet it’s handy if flying from Exeter Airport ... or if you fancy a slice of the high life in Torquay.

Excellent breakfast.

As you might expect, farmhouse breakfasts here are hearty, delicious and very special. Within reason, you can choose a time to have it. Later dining at the nearby Ley Arms is recommended.

On the spacious side, they feature attractive oak furniture. Some rooms open on to an attractive patio and a breath of fresh Devon air.

Remote.

An attraction at certain times of the year but the single track road access is tricky at dead of night. Presumably the snow of winter can make the farm inaccessible!

Some are quite small with very limited storage areas.

Not very reliable. It’s OK at the Ley Arms though – so a good excuse for a drink.
