The Lotus at Diamond Head is a four star boutique style hotel that is part of the Castle Resorts and Hotels group. It is located on the “Gold Cost” stretch of Waikiki with its own access to Sans Souci Beach and across from the 108-acre Queen Kapiolani Park which contains the Honolulu zoo and Waikiki aquarium. It is also only 11 miles from Honolulu international airport. The 50 guest rooms at The Lotus are decorated in an Asian inspired manner and every one of them has views of the Diamond Head volcanic crater whilst some rooms also have sea views. Standard amenities at The Lotus include televisions with cable channels, DVD and CD players, cordless telephones, safes, internet access, ipod docking stations, mini-refrigerators, desks, individually controlled climate control and private lanais.
