The on-site bar with its open fire places and pool table proved very popular with the guests looking for somewhere to relax and socialise at the end of the day. The outdoor beer garden which looks out onto the extensive private grounds was also a favourit

The food served at the on-site Indian restaurant was said to be very tasty and made from quality local ingredients. The dishes were described as well-prepared and the portions ample whilst guests appreciated the wide variety of choice on offer on the menu

All the members of staff have been described as being friendly and approachable by those who stayed here. Guests felt well-looked after and appreciated all the useful information they received from the reception staff with regards to the local area whilst

Guests whose rooms were located at the front of the building said that they were disturbed by the traffic noise which they described as quite intrusive. Music form the on-site bar was also said to be quite loud and often lasted until late in the evening.

There is no lift on the premises and guests whose rooms were located on the upper floors said they found it quite tiring climbing several flights of stairs on a daily basis.

Some of the guests mentioned that their rooms were not entirely clean as they noticed dust on the surfaces and unclean carpets which appeared not to have been hovered properly.
