Situated in extensive grounds on the Dominican Republic’s Amber Coast, Hotel Lifestyle Crown Residence Suites offers elegant accommodation and full resort facilities and activities. The rooms have the light and airy feel that reminds one of the seaside. Each features air conditioning, work desk, telephone, cable TV, in-room safe (fee), coffee maker, minibar, hairdryer and iron. Aside from the massive pool deck, the hotel features facilities for many sports, from tennis to scuba diving. There’s a nightly entertainment program and a nightclub onsite that offers free admission. There are an incredible 11 restaurants and 12 bars on the resort, offering a wide range of cuisines to choose from. Uniquely, the kitchen is certified Kosher. There are an incredible number of activities available at the resort, both in the water and on dry land. Of the seven private beaches nearby, two are accessible to all guests and the other five to VIP guests.
Guests were clearly happy with the food available at the resort. There are an incredible 11 restaurants at the resort and guests mentioned that not only was the food excellent, but the huge variety meant that they couldn’t possibly get bored with it over the course of their vacation.

Guests loved that there were so many activities onsite. They felt that they were at a true resort, with so many activities and amenities that there really was no pressing need to go off-site.
Quite a number of guests mentioned that the resort was simply too big. They certainly appreciated all the amenities, but found that it took and age to walk from one place to another. Those not up for a lot of walking may be in for some trouble.
Guests mentioned problems with insects in their room. Like in other tropical locations the surroundings harbor an incredible array of insects and bugs, and the hotel was not always able to keep these out of the rooms and public areas of the hotel.
The resort sells various forms of timeshare onsite. Some guests were upset to be given a sales pitch when all they really wanted was to enjoy their holiday in peace and quiet. Some guests who were actually interested in purchasing also felt that the salespeople didn’t properly explain all the options available, typically failing to mention the cheaper packages.
