Fine location.

In the heart of Bruges, this is the perfect base from which to explore the city by foot, horse drawn carriage or boat.

They couldn’t be nicer or more friendly and helpful. Complete strangers depend entirely on the information and advice offered by the hotel and here, you won’t be let down.

Super clean rooms.

Everything is tip top and sparklingly clean. This is a small and traditional hotel where day to day cleaning and maintenance can’t be faulted. It’s very relaxing and a perfect base, particularly if you’ve never visited the area before.

Embarrassing room access.

The only way to the rooms is through the restaurant so, it’s not their fault -but you can feel like an intruding and unwelcome guest. Watch those stairs as well. Very steep!

Not overly tidy.

Room cleaning isn’t tackled with any real enthusiasm so this aspect leaves something to be desired.

Missing things.

You really miss having an iron when you want it and there’s no offer of assistance with luggage. You have to navigate the spiral staircase yourself! Customer service is OK, but they don’t put themselves out as much they could.
