Hotel Leon's Place (Rome, Italy)

The hotel is well connected to public transport and well placed for accessing the main tourist sites. Local buses are close by and two metro stations, Repubblica and Castro Pretorio are 10-minutes’ walk away. The Vatican Museum is 25-minutes away via Repubblica. If you enjoy walking, you can stroll through the historic streets and reach the Colosseum in 30-minutes. Other sites such as the Spanish Steps, Piazza di Spagna and Villa Borghese are a 20-minute walk away.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable and all the facilities are clean and well presented. The bathrooms are also generously sized with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The rooms are well furnished with contemporary decor. The hotel is also set in a quiet street away from the main tourist areas.

The staff are friendly, hospitable, approachable and seek to promptly fulfil requests. If you are new to Rome you can expect staff to assist you with information for how to get around as well as recommendations for places to eat and visit.

The Wi-Fi connection is not always reliable. Some guests found that the internet was either slow or difficult to connect to.

Some guests complained that the prices for alcoholic drinks at the bar were expensive. The bar service is also not always reliable and some guests experienced delays before receiving their order.

Reviews about breakfast are mixed. Some guests had favourable experiences while others felt that the breakfast offerings were limited and the produce offered were not fresh.
