On the whole, guests were very pleased with the location of the hotel, saying that it was just a short walk from the bars, restaurants, shops and other amenities of downtown Buffalo.

Even guests who had an issue or two during their stay seldom failed to praise the staff for being the highlight of their stay. They were said to be incredibly friendly and welcoming, and always seemed willing to go out of their way to help their guests.

Many guests reported that they experienced several issues relating to the age of the hotel and the fact that internal maintenance and refurbishment had not been properly done in their view.
