Situated in Quebec City’s peaceful Montcalm neighbourhood, Le Widor is a Bed & Breakfast offering stylish accommodation in a property built in 1920 that can be booked in its entirety by large parties if necessary. Each of the six rooms has a unique design, usually contemporary, and are equipped with all the amenities you’ll need for a great stay, including flat screen TV’s. Le Widor has some decent public amenities for such a small property, including a lovely terrace and backyard pool A comprehensive continental breakfast buffet is served every morning. As for the other two meals, there are some terrific dining options on nearby Cartier Avenue, including restaurants serving authentic French –Canadian fare. The establishment is quite close to the Plains of Abraham Battlefield - less than 200 yards away. Those looking for more traditional surroundings should head into the heart of Old Quebec, which is approximately 1.3 miles away.
Although the hotel is not within the old walled city, guests nevertheless really liked the location. They described it as being close to Cartier Avenue, which was said to have some excellent shopping and dining. Some also mentioned it was easy to use public transport to reach Old Quebec, or even walk.
Going by the guest reviews, it's fair to say they really enjoyed the breakfast offered at the hotel. A number mentioned that it was very tasty, had sufficient variety and quantity and was well-priced as well.
Guests really only had good things to say about the hotel's small staff complement, saying that they were all very friendly and helpful, with some adding that they did not have any issues at all communicating in English.

The hotel itself was said to have no parking, with suitable street parking in the area being extremely difficult to find. It seems most guests had to park in private lots, which some found very expensive.
While most of the rooms have private bathrooms, it seems that two of them do have to share a bathroom. Some guests were blindsided by this and did not really like sharing a bathroom with other guests.
