The team at Le Relais Montmartre manage to turn the old stereotype of moody, laissez-faire French service right on its head. Friendly, outgoing and as polite as polite can be; these wonderful guys and gals do a fine job of making you feel well and truly welcome. Excellent.

Sometimes you get it straight away and sometimes you have to run the tap for a good five or ten minutes before you start to see some steam. Suffice to say, shower times here can be interesting...
