Conveniently located between La Malbaie and the casino, Le Petit Charlevoix is a charming property offering renovated self catering accommodation suitable for business people and independent holidaymakers. The rooms are compact but well furnished and equipped and include all you’ll need for a great stay, including flat screen TV’s and even private kitchenettes. The property has a beautiful sun terrace where guests can relax and gaze out over the broad St. Lawrence River. Free off-street parking is available for all guests onsite. Wi-Fi is free of charge and accessible throughout the property, including the rooms. Café Chez Nous is the in-house dining establishment. It has a great pavement terrace that is the perfect spot in summer to sit and watch the world go by. The Charlevoix Casino and its amenities is just over a mile south of Le Petit Charlevoix. The town of La Malbaie is 1.7 miles to the north.
It was impossible to find a bad review of the onsite bistro. Guests not only appreciated having it available, since it prevented them from having to find somewhere else to eat, but pretty much all guests said that it offered really tasty meals at good prices and that they were very happy with their experience there.
Many guests said that the room rates here were very reasonable indeed. Since most found the accommodation acceptable, at least, they tended to conclude that they had received good value for money.

This was by far what guests most complained about during their stay. Many mentioned that the whole house was a pretty noisy place. The noise from the bistro's kitchen was often mentioned as the main source of disturbance, but other guests making a racket and cars passing along the street outside were also mentioned as sources.
Of course this part of Quebec can get very hot in summer, which was when a number of guests commented that the lack of in-room air conditioners resulted in uncomfortably hot and sticky conditions there.
